Tiger Shroff's team has released a statement following the shooting attack on the actor on October 18, denying false claims and warning of legal action against those sharing fake videos.
The statement, posted on Instagram, clarified that Tiger Shroff has not made any official statement or released any video message regarding the recent attack. It also warned people against sharing AI-generated videos of the actor and making false claims.
According to the statement, several social media pages and digital platforms have been circulating fabricated stories, AI-generated videos, and scripted narratives, falsely attributed to Tiger Shroff. The team termed these stories and videos as 'false' and 'unauthorised', intended to mislead the public.
The team urged media outlets, digital platforms, and social media pages to exercise responsibility, verify information before publishing, and refrain from creating or amplifying misinformation for engagement or monetary gain. They also warned that any individual or page found creating, promoting, or circulating such fabricated content will face appropriate legal action.
The shooting attack on Tiger Shroff occurred on October 18, when three bike-borne men attacked his car while he was leaving a football playground near Pushpa Park in Mumbai's upscale Juhu area. Two men opened fire at Tiger's car, leaving his driver and a passerby injured. Tiger, however, did not suffer any gunshot wounds.
The police arrested three suspects in Rajasthan's Kota just hours after the shooting attack. The accused have been identified as Rehan alias Sukka, Ritik Kurmi alias Roshan, and Phool Singh. According to the police, Rehan was in touch with Anil Pandit, an alleged associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which claimed responsibility for the attack in an unverified social media post.
The team requested everyone to rely only on verified communication from Tiger Shroff and his official team, and to refrain from sharing or promoting any false or unauthorised content.
